Pat files an unauthorised refusal that stops part of the system and makes her a fugitive, and the trail leads to the first conviction of all, and to the truth that her memory of a bargain was never real.

Book Three: Paid in Full

Hell purges everyone who honoured Pat's refusal. Offered back everything she has lost if she will only sign the blank line and validate the authority that was always missing, Pat refuses, and freezes the founding lie into dispute, so every sentence built on it must finally be examined rather than presumed lawful.
